Bill Fenech, President and CEO of Thor Motor Coach, raved, “The Louisville show was a huge success. The dealer attitudes towards ALL OUR PRODUCTS and company were phenomenal. The new ‘Best in Show’ A.C.E and our diesel pushers stole the show!” He went on to say “This is a very good indication of future business and we anticipate strong production rates for the upcoming year.”

 

Dealers are also excited at the prospect of a financially strong upcoming year.  Roger Belanger of Le Geant Motorise, one of Canada’s largest dealers, boasted, “Thor Motor Coach’s diesel product lines are the wind in our sails or as we say in French ‘le vent dans les voiles’. The Tuscany is the best value I’ve seen.  

 

The product improvements they made are right, the price is right, the quality is right, and the floor plans are right while the upgraded chassis performance is a great addition. The quality, floor plans, performance, price, service, and of course the Thor Motor Coach sales team is the best in the industry. This is the best we have ever seen.”

 

“The Tuscany has always been a dealer favorite, but with the addition of the 42FK tag axle floor plan and the Cummins ISL 450HP engine becoming standard on all tag axle models put the Tuscany over the top this year.”, said Matt Thompson, Thor Motor Coach’s General Manager of the diesel division.

 

It’s more than just hype, while many companies are closing for two weeks or more, Thor Motor Coach announced they will only shut down one week at Christmas. This will allow the employees to enjoy time off with their friends and family.

 

Prior to the Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, KY, Thor Motor Coach maintained its increased production levels throughout the fall with anticipation of additional increases for the upcoming year. Rental orders are strong as well, which helps to support the production projections.

 

Increased rates have elevated overall optimism, providing an opportunity to invest towards the future.   Thor Motor Coach just committed to the largest rear diesel chassis order in their history, and placed large Ford class A & C chassis orders as well. Other recent requisitions include additional lamination equipment and a commitment to expand the lamination building.
